What is TLA, what is Neural Therapy? Half-day course for beginners.

Content: Scientific basis of TLA, levels of treatment (local, segment, regional, interference field, systemic). Definition: TLA – Neural Therapy. Effects and side effects of local anesthetics in therapy, education. Indications and contraindications, side effects. Anamnesis and examination from a regulatory medical point of view. Technical requirements and tools. Simple injection techniques for the beginner. Practical exercise.

Objective: Understand and apply the basics of TLA.

Target Group: Doctors of all disciplines, dentists, veterinarians in clinics and practices; Students of human, dental and veterinary medicine in the clinical part of their studies.

Half-day course for advanced beginners; Introduction to the master courses on Saturday.

Content: Deepening of the scientific basis of TLA / neural therapy. Practical evidence from 120 years. Indications and non-indications. The five levels of TLA. Simple basic techniques for quick success: The Quick & Easy concept. Investigation Techniques, e.g. B. NRP test. Integration into general and specialist practice. Lots of practical exercises. Own experiences from daily practice can be brought into this course.

Target Groups: Physicians who have mastered wheals and want to be more successful with therapy.

Requirements: Basic knowledge of wheals or neural therapy, or participation in Basic Course 1.

Interesting for: Specialists with previous knowledge who are looking to refresh their skills and/or want to attend one of the Master Courses on Saturday, 08.07.2023. Prior knowledge includes attending an earlier course in neural therapy in Heidelberg or at a specialist society.

This is the original: The popular TLA gynecology course for gynecologists and related disciplines.

Content: Treating gynecological pain causally with TLA: TLA has a success rate of up to 80% for chronic pain in the genital area. You will learn about the latest scientific data and learn about the important indications for neural therapy: vulvodynia, pelvic pain, dysmenorrhea, infertility; also recurrent inflammation; Urogyn.: dysuria, interstitial cystitis. In 2021, in addition to genital injections, the course will also cover neural therapy for breast diseases.

Scientific basis: New data on the evidence. The new membrane model of the TLA.

TLA practice: anamnesis, findings and treatment plan for gyn. Pain. Particularities of the gynecological examination in chron. Pain and inflammation in the genitals. Special procedure for vulvodynia, Chron. Pelvic pain, scar pain, low back pain, cyclic headache, cyclic mastodynia.

You will learn and practice special injection techniques (e.g. on the pudendal nerve) on the phantom, including injections that are rarely taught. In the course, we also discuss questions from previous courses and work out therapy concepts together. Great value is placed on intercollegiate exchange, the participants‘ own experiences are welcome. Completion with oral-practical exam and certificate.

Recognition: The course is recognized as a master course MK-05 by the DGfAN. Attending this course is sufficient for recertification of your Heidelberg Gyn certificate.

Target Groups: Gynecologists, pain therapy, general medicine in clinics and practices. At the same time the ideal refresher course for all participants who have already attended a master’s course in gynecology.

Requirements: Participation in previous courses in gynecological TLA or attending the Basic Course 2 on Friday 17.09.21 or 09.07.22.

The course is characterized by a lot of hands-on and reference to daily practice.
The speakers are experienced conservative orthopedic neurologists and enthusiastic course leaders with many years of experience in therapy with local anesthetics.

Target Groups: General practitioners, neurologists, orthopedists, pain therapists, anesthesiologists.

Requirements: none. For newcomers to TLA/ neural therapy, prior attendance of the introductory courses on Thursday, 06.07.2023 and Friday, 07.07.2023 is required.
